Ayurveda in the City

Balance your mind, body, and spirit.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is an ancient system of life (ayur) knowledge (veda). It is a holistic system of health and well being that has its roots in ancient India and pre-dates every other medical system on the planet. The wisdom and practice of Ayurveda is 5,000+ years old, and some suggest it is considerably older.

Ayurveda is both preventative and curative. It emphasizes good health and prevention and treatment of illness through lifestyle practices (such as nutrition, exercise, meditation, and massage) and the use of herbal remedies.

In Ayurveda, we look at the body as a whole and each person as an individual. The goal is to uncover the imbalances within us and work to correct these. The closer we become to being in balance, the healthier we feel and the better equipped we are to prevent illness and disease.

Candice, 36

Attorney/Mother

"My favorite part of the consult was discussing my body type and what foods would benefit me most. This helps me on a daily basis to make better decision regarding my food choices. Incorporating the steps recommended by Erica has definitely improved my quality of health."

John, 48

Sales

"My dietary changes have alleviated my intestinal issues and I have lost over 20 lbs. Erica's encouragement during our initial consult and subsequent follow ups has given me the motivation and confidence to continue to try to improve - some days I’m better than others in following the recommendations but always get back on the program. You have nothing to lose by exploring Ayurveda and based on my experience you could find that it’s a real life changer."

Jasmine, 38

Attorney

"Erica gave me detailed instructions and product suggestions that were very easy to follow.  After implementing some of the practices I really did see a difference in my well being. I would absolutely recommend Erica's services and I'm excited to continue on my own Ayurvedic journey."
